The Support Facility

To help with the implementation of the GCCA, a Support Facility was created in 2009.

Its main objectives are to:
• organize GCCA international dialogue events and technical workshops involving target countries officials and stakeholders, and
• provide support to GCCA beneficiary countries on the identification and formulation of concrete interventions.

The Facility allows to:
• Compile and analyse the existing climate country data and information from national, regional and international communications, NAPAs (where applicable), technology needs assessments, national capacity self assessments, etc.
• Work with selected partner countries and stakeholders to identify and formulate GCCA interventions.
